The Icon

Iconia

Some houses evoke the midcentury. Iconia is the midcentury, kept immaculate. Designed and built by an apprentice of Frank Lloyd Wright, the house wears its era the way it was meant to be worn: terrazzo gleaming underfoot, each bathroom in its own bright original tile, decks running on for miles beneath one hundred palms and a grove of redwoods. This is the neighborhood where Frank Sinatra summered, and the house still carries that ease. Exploring it is a pleasure all its own, a floor plan of happy surprises, where every turn rewards a second look. Beneath the period surfaces, everything that should be modern is: the kitchen, the lighting, the systems, all quietly state of the art.

The Modernist

McKinley

McKinley is a modern-craftsman house built around light. The great room rises two full stories to a beamed ceiling, anchored by a floor-to-ceiling stacked-stone wall with a gas fireplace, and a wall of glass beside the kitchen folds completely away onto a deck that looks out over the treetops. The kitchen is a showpiece in its own right: Viking and Z-Line appliances, a two-toned waterfall island, and a butler's pantry. Upstairs, the primary suite has its own fireplace, a private balcony, and a spa bath. Downstairs, the walk-out lower level adds a second kitchen, a fireside rec room, a media room, and a gym, opening onto a covered patio. Upstairs, the primary suite has a sunny sitting area and a soaking-tub bath; downstairs, a long rec room with a second fireplace has room for games and movies. Good to Know

Frequently asked questions

What makes Farpoint a 'private resort'?

Rather than one hotel, Farpoint is a curated collection of luxury homes, each a private estate with resort-style amenities, and most with a heated saltwater pool and hot tub. You get the polish of a resort with the privacy of your own estate.

Can we book more than one home together?

Absolutely. Many guests book two or more homes for friends' getaways, family gatherings, and work retreats. Reach out and our team will coordinate the homes, dates, and experiences for your group.

Are the homes pet-friendly?

Pet-friendly options are available across the collection. Let us know about your travel companions when you book and we'll make sure everyone's comfortable.

Are the pools really heated year-round?

Yes — every home with a pool has it gas-heated and open all year, so a swim is on the table whatever the season.
